HOUSEKEEPING / LAUNDRY ATTENDANT (Laurel MD)

Hotel in Laurel, Maryland seeks full time Room Attendants and Laundry Attendants

HOUSEKEEPER. The essential functions of this position include cleaning guest rooms and public areas to provide a positive guest experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Dusting and cleaning

• Stripping bed linens, making beds

• Washing windows

• Cleaning toilets, sinks and showers

• Emptying trash, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floors.

• Assisting in other areas where needed.

• Must be able to carry 40 lbs. up and down stairs.

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT. The essential functions of this position include working in housekeeping performing laundry cleaning activities in accordance with established brand/hotel guest service and sustainability standards ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering.

• Packaging linen bundles for distribution and assisting in transporting linens.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

• Ideal Laundry associates are extremely detail-oriented.

• They strive to provide guests with clean and comfortable accommodations while away from home.

• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Cleaning and/or laundry experience is a must. Hotel experience preferred.

Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (Gwynn Oaks, MD)

Quality Patient Centered Services is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist for a one day, 10 hour, Military clinic event to perform phlebotomy services.

Must have a minimum of 2 years phlebotomy experience, references and proven phlebotomy training. Training to participate in the event regarding tubes and paperwork provided.

Pay is $22 per hour. Potential for more future events, as well.
