An Anne Arundel County jury awarded a woman 800,000 because her landlord supposedly did nothing about her bed bug infestation in her apartment. The jury made the award to Faika Shaaban,66, for compensation and to cover damages. The apartment complex was owned by Cornelius J. Barrett who failed to hire an exterminator to fix the problem.
