Imagine a music superstar like Nelly, Gloria Estefan, John Rich or Joe Jonas knocking on your front door to give you a shot at making it big in the music industry. Well 4 lucky Baltimoreans experienced that when the CW’s The Next paired them up with a music icon to give them the goods on becoming a music superstar.
Shannon Ramsey, Jenny Leigh, Chris Bivins and Jordan Baird, all from Baltimore, were given the chance of a lifetime to work with music royalty in the hopes of being chosen at The Next big superstar to hail from Baltimore. The show was taped downtown at The Hippodrome. Thousands of fans came out in support of the four contestants but America must wait until Aug 26 to find out who will take home the Baltimore crown.
