In addition to stressing the importance of voting, the President had some laughs with Rickey, talked about hip-hop and what music he's listening to.

I am disappointed to hear one time Obama supporters wavering on whether or not they are going to vote in this mid-term election. Comments like, “nothing is changing, so what is the benefit, as a matter of fact, it appears things have gotten worst,” is disheartening.

The First Lady Michelle Obama debuted a new look for last night’s White House state dinner.  Michelle wore a one-shoulder shimmery-blue gown by designer Peter Soronen and wore her hair in a curly up-do.
