Chris Brown has been granted bail following his recent arrest in the United Kingdom for an alleged assault, TMZ reports.

Although the R&B star did not appear in person at Southwark Crown Court in London on Wednesday, a judge approved his release, allowing him to move forward with plans for his upcoming world tour.

The court set bail at £5 million, approximately $6.7 million USD, which Brown was ordered to pay as a security deposit. While the full terms of his bail have not yet been disclosed, updates are expected as more information becomes available.

The charges stem from an incident in 2023 at a London nightclub, where Brown is accused of striking music producer Abraham Diaw in the head with a tequila bottle, resulting in a grievous bodily harm charge. Diaw survived the alleged attack.

Despite the legal developments, Brown is scheduled to launch his “11:11 Tour” on June 8 in Amsterdam. The tour will continue through the U.K. with stops in Manchester, London, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Glasgow throughout June and July.
