As Diddy’s highly anticipated federal trial approaches next month, new details are emerging about the role Cassie may play in the courtroom. According to multiple reports, Diddy’s legal team has subpoenaed Cassie, demanding access to the tell-all book she’s been working on – along with her journals, book drafts, diary entries and any materials referencing the music mogul and their former relationship.

Sources say the subpoena includes her bank statements and is part of a legal strategy tied to her previous lawsuit against Sean Combs. Combs’ lawyers claim that before Cassie filed her civil case, she allegedly offered Diddy a chance to buy the rights to her book, which is rumored to be about their relationship, for $30 million to prevent it from being published. Diddy reportedly turned down the offer, which was then followed by the lawsuit.

Combs’ legal team now argues that the unpublished book and related materials are relevant evidence and fair game for the upcoming trial. While Cassie has not confirmed publicly, she is rumored to be one of the accusers expected to testify at trial in May.

This development adds another layer of drama to a case already under heavy media scrutiny, as both sides prepare for what’s expected to be a high-profile legal showdown that is shaping up to be one of the biggest trials of the year.
