Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and city officials are set to unveil the entertainment lineup for this year’s AFRAM Festival, happening at Druid Hill Park on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22.

AFRAM, a free two-day celebration, is one of the largest African-American cultural festivals on the East Coast. It shines a spotlight on local artists and entrepreneurs while bringing major national talent to the stage. Festival-goers can expect a vibrant mix of cultural vendors, handmade crafts, and delicious food.

WJZ proudly returns as a media sponsor for the event.

“Baltimore has the best lineup in the entire country when it comes to free and accessible concerts and festivals,” Mayor Scott said in a previous statement. “Summer is always the highlight.”

This year’s performers include a dynamic mix of R&B, hip-hop, and soul legends: Vedo, Amerie, Saweetie, Teedra Moses, Juvenile, and the iconic Patti LaBelle are all scheduled to take the stage.

In 2024, despite scorching temps topping 100 degrees, thousands flocked to Druid Hill Park for unforgettable sets from Busta Rhymes, Mya, Big Daddy Kane, and funk legends Morris Day and The Time.

“It was an amazing weekend to celebrate Black culture on Juneteenth weekend,” Mayor Scott said of last year’s success.

The 2023 edition of AFRAM also delivered, with performances by DJ Spinderella, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Capri, and the legendary Isley Brothers.

With another powerhouse lineup on deck, AFRAM 2025 promises to keep the summer vibes alive and thriving in Baltimore.
