DDG Publicly Shares Frustrations Over Custody Struggles With Halle Bailey and Their Son Halo

DDG is speaking out about his ongoing custody issues with his ex, Halle Bailey, following their split last October.

The couple, who first got together in January 2022, welcomed their son, Halo, in December 2023.

Since then, it appears tensions have been escalating, and on Friday, DDG took to YouTube to share his frustrations in a video titled

“She Won’t Let Me See My Son…”.

In the video, DDG expressed how difficult it’s been to maintain a consistent relationship with his son.

“I don’t really like talking about real-life stuff, but I feel like I have to,”

he admitted, explaining that the situation had been ongoing for some time.

“I feel like I’m honestly getting bullied when it comes to me just wanting to be a dad.”

Although DDG emphasizes that he spends time with Halo, he revealed it’s been limited.

“Every single day or every other day, I’m trying to see him,”

DDG shared, explaining that he often drives long distances to visit his son.

However, he claims he frequently faces barriers, stating,

“I get there, and I can’t get him, or I can’t see him.”

He went on to say that things escalated to a breaking point earlier that day when he tried to visit Halo, only to be “kicked out” of the home.

“I planned my whole day to be with him. My whole day was around that, and then I get there, and I’m kicked out of the crib, can’t see him.”

DDG expressed frustration with his role as a “secondary parent” and explained that he feels limited in how much time he can spend with his son.

“Every time I’m [with him], he’s got a smile on his face, he’s happy to see me, but he only can see me for no more than 48 hours,”

he said.

“I haven’t had to have my son to myself for longer than 72 hours. He’s getting picked up, taken away. I can’t come get him, whatever.”

He emphasized that he didn’t want to air out their personal matters on the internet but felt it was his “last resort.”

DDG concluded by saying, “I just feel like it needs to be some kind of repercussions for this because I’m not a deadbeat.”

While the situation remains unresolved, DDG’s public statement shines a light on the difficulties he’s facing in trying to co-parent with Halle.
