Trump Says He Will 'Most Likely' Give TikTok a 90-day Extension

The clock is ticking for TikTok in America, following a law that requires TikTok to find a new, non-Chinese owner or get banned on Sunday. While anything can happen with new ownership in 24 hours that is very unlikely however,  President-elect Donald Trump said he will ” most likely” give TikTok an extension. During an interview with NBC News’ “Meet the Press” Saturday Trump said that that he will “most likely” give TikTok  a 90-day extension from the  potential ban. Trump also added that things are final with his decision but was considering it and would make the announcement Monday.

Trump said during the phone interview,

“I think that would be, certainly, an option that we look at. The 90-day extension is something that will be most likely done, because it’s appropriate. You know, it’s appropriate. We have to look at it carefully. It’s a very big situation,”

“If I decide to do that, I’ll probably announce it on Monday
