A foundation created after a 2022 school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, is offering a $5,000 reward for information in a shooting that injured a Dunbar student on Monday, bringing the total reward to $9,000.

According to Baltimore Police, the 15-year-old student was shot in the neck, abdomen, and leg about 30 minutes after dismissal.  He was rushed to surgery and is expected to recover.

Police released a photo of a person of interest in the case. Officers said the person was seen running toward Washington Street.

“Turn yourself in. We’re going to find you,” Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said. “There’s too much video. There’s too many witnesses.”

The One in Five Foundation For Kids announced it is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case through its Crimes Against Students National Reward Program.
