Can we talk about the Fat Joe & Ja Rule “Verzuz” battle that went down last night? It was one for the books!!! Fat Joe of course gave us hits “All the Way Up,” “Make It Rain,” and Big Pun’s “Still Not A Player.” He also brought out friends to help him along the way Remy Ma, Dre, Nelly & Ashanti who also was performing with Ja Rule. Ja gave us some “Put It On Me,” “Down 4 U,” “I Cry,” “Mesmerize,” and Jennifer Lopez’s “I’m Real.” Although he made us think she was about to come out she didn’t, but he did bring out our favorite, Lil Mo.
Other big moments from the battle is when Fat Joe surprised Remy and Ashanti with new bags that he wanted them to unbox on stage then he slid into “Lean Back. The real vibe is when Jadakiss made a surprise appearance to perform “New York” on stage with Fat Joe and Ja Rule, he had to remind people he’s still outsideeeee!
