The story of Sarah Rector is one of my FAVORITE, so I talk about this every Black History month because we all need to know more about OUR History (HIS-STORY)… Other people tell our story but leave out the most important parts. In the case of Sarah Rector they changed her race on paper in the courts because of her wealth. They made her a white woman on paper and people from around the world wanted to marry her.
