Passing gas is natural body function that everyone does on a daily basis.
Suppose you’re in a meeting or are in the middle of a conversation and you need to “hold in” your fart?
According to Circa, Clare Collins, a professor in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Newcastle, says, “A build up of intestinal gas can trigger abdominal distension, with some gas reabsorbed into the circulation and exhaled in your breath.”
If you try to hold in your fart, it can come out of your mouth.
Instead of holding your fart in, Collins says that its better to “let it go” in a “more convenient location.”
