Derrek Wright may not want to smoke weed again after the weekend he’s had.
According to reports, Eazy-E‘s son has been detained by Australian immigration after border patrol found two joints and a small, yet unspecified, amount of weed in his luggage. The rapper was immediately arrested on Saturday and authorities cancelled his work visa, so he is no longer welcome there for the next three years.
Somehow, Wright took to Facebook to share his condition with his friends and fans to apologize, saying, “SORRY 2 ALL MY FRIENDS AND FANS IN AUSTRALIA. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY EVENTS I WAS SCHEDULED FOR. MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES.” Wright is furious he’s being held there and the police are allegedly asking whether or not he is Aborigene, which is Australia’s indigenous group. Derrek claims it’s an act of racism and he urges his fans to petition for his release.
