More details are coming out about Lil Wayne’s controversial interview on Nightline that aired earlier this week. Lil Wayne blames his negative comments about ‘Black Lives Matter‘ because the interviewer asked him some unnecessary comments about his daughter.
Since then, Lil Wayne has given his publicist the axe. According to TMZ, his camp sent numerous messages to ABC asking them not to air the interview, but no messages were returned. Sources say the interview asked questions that were “not approved”. ABC tells TMZ, “nothing was off limits”.
Wayne did apologize for comments about #BLM.
