Former New Orleans Saints DE Will Smith Shot Dead

According to the Washington Post, Smith and his wife were driving in New Orleans when a Hummer hit them from behind causing them to run into the car in front of them. Witnesses say an argument started and then 6-8 shot rang out shortly after. Smith’s car had a bullet hole in the windshield and Smith was in the car slumped over the steering wheel. His wife was shot twice in the leg, no word on her current condition but she is expected to survive.
