With all of the praise that Kendrick Lamar has been getting for his performance at the 58th Grammy Awards, there has to be some hate and slander, right? Of course, we wish there wouldn’t be because it was so EPIC, but lets be real.
Director Wendel Patrick is accusing Lamar from stealing the concept from the music, “The Last Jimmy”. Wendel says in the musical, they also had “dancers in prison outfits, the main character in chains, an African dance transition and a back screen projecting Africa.”
Kendrick or his label has yet to respond to the accusations.
