A viral discussion was launched over the weekend that many of the male leads of Best Man Holiday are not involved with black women. Some felt that we should stop supporting the movie about black love if the actors in it don’t seem to value black women.
Should we not be fans of actors because of what they choose to do in their personal lives?
- Not at all. The actors are doing a job…ACTING. TRUE love has no color.
- What is that old saying, they “talk black and sleep white.”
- They get paid for entertainment, not for their social life. I could care less if every last one of them were gay, as long as they entertain me while the cameras are on.

- You date or marry who you love! PERIOD!
- It doesn’t matter…love is love just because the spouse is a different race doesn’t mean they need to play the same character in their movies.
