Gladiators we can finally rest now. Part of the mystery is over! According to sources we can now confirm that Kandi Alexander will be playing the role of Kerry Washington‘s mother aka Scandal‘s Olivia Pope.

So we don’t know that much about Olivia’s mom and just in case your confused yes it is true that Olivia’s mom died in a plane crash when Olivia was 12 but during the next episode we will see Kandi Alexander play out her mother during a series of flashbacks.
