If you notice, Rihanna has put out an album every year since 2005, when she first hit the scene.

Music of the Sun (2005)

A Girl Like Me (2006)

Good Girl Gone Bad (2007)

Rated R (2009)

Loud (2010)

Talk That Talk (which drops November 21st) will be her 6th studio album.

Usually artist release an every 2-3 years, but with the fear of Rihanna becoming disposable, her manager has admitted to releasing music so frequently.

Speaking with the BBC, Rihanna’s manager, Jay Brown, tells “Kids want new material all the time. I think you become disposable when you put out an album every three years. It’s not like we force her. She goes into the studio because she likes it.”

Brown is not worried about Rihanna oversaturating the market. He thinks the more music she has out there, the longer her career can be as a pop singer.
