Last night Rihanna accepted her award for being Glamour’s Women of the Year. She looked beautiful when she walked on stage in “the tightest dress I could find.”
Before she accepted her award, they showed a video montage of her rise to fame including her relationship with Chris Brown and the pain she went through after her assault.
An emotional Rihanna walked on stage and wiped a tear, joking that it was PMS.
“I’m really a woman, a human being,” she said. “I go through real situations that women all over the world go through every day. It’s great to have the opportunity to be a voice for those women.” (HollyScoop)
Other women who were honored included U.S. first lady Michelle Obama , British fashion designer Stella McCartney and nine others (Serena Williams, Journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee, Maya Angelou, pediatrician Jane Aronson ,Marissa Mayer, comedian Amy Poehler, and Susan Rice).
