CNA, HHA, Sitter -Live-in/Respite (Baltimore and Harford County)
Immediate OPENING’s
Live-ins Mon-Friday and Weekends, for on-going as well as short respite care
Under direction of visiting nurse, Duties include but are not limited to:
Daily routine care: bathing, dressing and feeding
Assistance with active and passive range of motion: turning and transferring using a Hoyer lift
Bed making and light cleaning and housekeeping
Laundry
Observes Universal Precautions
Follows written nursing plan of care
Prepares patient meals and cleans up kitchen
Provides medication reminders
Assists patient with exercise and daily activities
Liaison with nurse and provides written notes
Ability to respond professionally and appropriately
Requires MD State CNA certificate and a minimum of 3YEARS of experience with hoyer lifts, trachs, foley bags
Requires excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Requires knowledge in Nursing Care Plan implementation and reporting procedures
Requires own tranportation, current CPR, PPD and physical in last 12 months
Physical Demands include but are not limited to:
Moderate physical activity: climbing stairs, lifting and transferring patients, g, standing or walking more then 4 hours per day, lifting and using Hoyer lift
Home environment involves possible exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment
