Maysa Leak, a contemporary jazz singer, is known for her solo work as well her work with the British band Incognito.

Maysa was born and raised in the Batimore and learned early on that she wanted to become a musician. She attended Milford Mill High School and earned a degree in classical performance from Morgan State University. She trained under the direction of the late Dr. Nathan Carter.
