Happy Birthday NOTORIOUS B.I.G
Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, was born May 21, 1972. The rapper was known as Biggie Smalls (after a character in the 1975 film Let’s Do It Again). Born in Brooklyn he grew up during the crack epidemic and started dealing drugs at a young age but later he became a central figure in the East Coast hip hop scene. On March 9, 1997, B.I.G. was killed in a drive-by shooting in L.A. To date, no arrests have been made in the case.
