Rihanna, Lauryn Hill and Nicki Minaj all canceled their Grammy appearances last minute, and we’re like, what’s up with that?
Is this a form of Black girl protest? (#Grammyssowhite? But Kendrick just grabbed a handful of awards), Or mere coincidence?
Rihanna is the latest drop out because she allegedly got bronchitis, Jesus.
TMZ reports the “ANTI” artist showed up to rehearsals and left on doctor’s orders of vocal rest.
Nicki Minaj alerted her barbs she wouldn’t be performing in a recent IG post (don’t be fooled by the ‘mercial):
Now, Lauryn’s “no show,” albeit not surprising, caught the whole industry off guard. She reportedly rehearsed with The Weeknd and then when it was game time, she was nowhere to be found.
