By now most of us have been updated on the heartbreaking tragedy that occured at SandyHook Elementary school this morning leaving atleast 26 dead. Our president has held a press conference in addition to other prominent political figures speaking out on this horrific event. Politician Mark Kelly, who is the husband of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who survived a shooting in Tucson back in January has expressed his views:
“This time our response must consist of more than regret, sorrow, and condolence. The children of Sandy Hook Elementary School and all victims of gun violence deserve leaders who have the courage to participate in a meaningful discussion about our gun laws – and how they can be reformed and better enforced to prevent gun violence and death in America,”
