Boosie would later join the late Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment and release his independent debut album, “For My Thugz” in 2003. In 2007 Boosie’s career took off when he was featured in rapper Fox’s hit single, “Wipe Me Down”. Boosie had released his first major album in 2006 called, “Bad A$$”. In 2009 he released his second major label album, “Super Bad A$$” and founded “Bas Azz Entertainment”.
Boosie is currently serving a four-year prison sentence in the Louisiana Stat Penitentiary and is facing additional charges in the murder and conspiracy of Terry Boyd. If convicted the rap star could receive the death penalty. Despite his current situation, his fans still celebrate him on his birthday.
