If you attempt to use TikTok after the shutdown on January 19, 2025, you may experience the following issues:- Will not be available to download in the App Store (if tiktok is already on your phone, it will stay)
- No more new updates (TikTok app may move slower due to this)
- Will not work on some public wifi (without phone service, you can’t use tiktok)
- More likely to glitch
- TikTok drafts won’t be stored
- Cannot save videos to your device
- TikTok plans to keep paying U.S. app worker
