Janelle Monae is one of the most exciting performers to hit the scene in recent years.
After independently releasing her Metropolis: The Chase EP, she signed with Bad Boy and I was immediately skeptical that she’d be able to survive in Diddyworld without losing what made me take notice in the first place.
Fortunately, I was very wrong.
