Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died at the age of 71, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

Emergency crews responded to Hogan’s Clearwater, Florida, home early Thursday morning following reports of a cardiac arrest. According to dispatch audio, multiple police units and emergency medical personnel were on the scene. Hogan was reportedly taken out of the home on a stretcher and transported by ambulance.

Just weeks ago, Hogan’s wife, Sky, publicly denied rumors that the WWE Hall of Famer was in a coma, insisting that his heart remained strong as he recovered from recent surgeries. Last month, speculation swirled about his health, with some reports claiming he was on his “deathbed.” Sources, however, clarified that Hogan was dealing with side effects from a neck procedure he had undergone in May.

Hogan, born Terry Bollea, revolutionized professional wrestling and helped transform it into mainstream entertainment. With his larger-than-life persona and unmatched charisma, he captured the hearts of fans across generations, drawing families to an industry that once catered to a niche audience.

In 1996, he shocked the wrestling world by turning heel and forming the New World Order (NWO), rebranding himself as “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan. The bold move redefined his career and fueled a surge in popularity for professional wrestling.

This is a developing story.
