Nicki Minaj claims her Instagram account was temporarily locked after she unleashed a fiery social media rant targeting Jay-Z, Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation. The move follows a federal judge’s denial of Megan’s and Roc Nation’s request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by one of Megan’s former cameramen, Emilio Garcia.

Minaj tweeted saying, “Barbz it looks like I’ve been locked out of my Instagram.” Her posts with allegations directed towards Jay-Z and other Roc Nation executives are still up on her page. Some of her posts even include accusations that the Hip Hop mogul owes her millions of dollars.

The drama erupted after Emilio Garcia’s lawsuit accusing Megan of sexual misconduct was allowed to proceed in court. Minaj chimed in with pointed remarks, writing, “What was the name of the law again???????? Karma’s Law?.”

She also made another post that accused Roc Nation Chief Operating Officer Desiree Perez of misconduct and abuse.

Nicki’s and Jay-Z’s longstanding tension stems back to a TIDAL deal that allegedly went sour. As one of the streaming platform’s initial artist-investors, alongside Beyoncé and Kanye West, Nicki claimed that she only received about $1 million for her reported three percent stake when Jay-Z sold TIDAL in 2021. However, by her calculations she’s owed at least 100 times that amount.

Nicki has also accused Jay of favoring Megan Thee Stallion over her and attempting to sabotage Nicki’s career moves after she opted to sign with Young Money instead of Roc Nation.

Though Nicki has still referred to Jay-Z as being one of her top five favorite rappers, the bitterness over financial, professional and competitive dynamics has clearly shifted their relationship from admiration to public confrontation.
