After the verdict of Derek Chauvin coming in Guilty on all counts, the legal world is honestly in a fluster of “GET IT RIGHT.” While justice has been served for George Floyd’s murder, we are still seeking justice in the case of Breonna Taylor’s murder.  Most recently NBCNews reported, “A judge announced on Friday that a new date has been set for Brett Hankison’s trial. Judge Ann Bailey Smith pushed the trial date from August 31 of this year to February 1, 2022.”

Although there were multiple officers involved in the raid of Breonna Taylor’s home, Hankinson is the only officer being charged. According to multiple reports from various sources, “Brett is facing three counts of wanton endangerment for allegedly shooting into the apartment of one of Breonna’s former neighbors, while serving the search warrant for the raid that ended in Breonna’s death. Brett has pled not guilty to the charges presented by a grand jury last September.”

We will give you more updates as we get them.
