This week, Mayor Brandon Scott’s exchange with a local activist during a press conference went viral.
“Shorty, pull your mask up,” Scott said to the man, whose name is in fact Shorty.
“I don’t got to pull my mask up,” the man shouted back to the mayor.

Scott continued to speak, but was interrupted by Shorty again.
“Shorty, come on man. Look, people dying Shorty,” Scott said.
