Are we looking at this the right way. Culture curator Van Lanthan had alot to say on his IGTV. Essentially, he does not agree with Jay-Z and RocNations decision to partner with the NFL simply because, “Kap is still unemployed and he believes that the NFL has completely stonewalled Kapernick from getting a job around the league to save face and uphold the racial card that they eny they have against Kap.” The biggest take away from what he said was that he has enough faith and patience to see how this plays out for Kap with this deal now in place. While he wouldn’t have made the deal, he also knows he’s not Jay-Z.

So do we give him time or do we shun Jay-Z before he upholds his lyrics, “I don’t need the NFL, the NFL needs me?”
