Two sixth graders in Tennessee were charged with planning a school.

The students were arrested on Friday in an alleged plot to shoot students and staff at South Cumberland Elementary School.

A school resource officer was made aware of the “hit list” containing the names of students to be shot in a future shooting. In the plot, the 6th graders planned to bring weapons to school, hide them in the locker room and shoot staff and students then commit suicide.

Both students were arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Juvenile Detention Center where they were charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
