On Saturday, friends and family of Dick Gregory came together at City of Praise Family Ministries in Landover to celebrate the life of the comedian and activist.
Gregory used his comedy and message of social change to becoming a civil rights activist in the 1960’s.
Dick Gregory passed away at the age of 84 last month in D.C.
