When the Ruff Ryder’s 20th Anniversary tour was announced with DMX, Eve, Swizz Beatz, The LOX and Fat Joe fans were excited to see some of the dopest rap cliques of the late 90’s/early 2000’s again. Unfortunately, the tour never really got to kick off. If it did, DMX would NOT have been on the show, which would have left a very SOUR taste in fans mouth; especially after him making guest appearances during the Bad Boy Reunion tour.
Earlier this month, X, was placed on house arrest after he was hit for tax evasion. Not being able to make any money to take care of his family, X and his legal team wrote the judge presiding over his case to allow him to travel to make money. According to NYDN, the judge has granted X permission to travel to do upcoming shows in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. However, in order for X to travel, he must be accompanied by his sober coach at all times. X will also have to cover the cost for his sober coach to travel as well.
Even though X is able to hit the road, his legal battle is far from over. If convicted in tax evasion, he faces 44 years in jail.
