Gun Violence Continues To Plague Chicago, Over 1,000 Shootings For Year To Date

After the death of baltimore rapper Lor Scoota the community wanted answers, and we may finally have some. According to a spokesman the gun linked to the death of Scoota has been recovered and 23 year old Avery Walton of the 2600 block of West Coldspring Lane who was caught with the gun is currently in custody. Chief police T.J Smith said detectives are considering the man found with the gun to be a “person of interest” but are still investigating.
