School update:
The elementary school has now been placed on alert status.
WBAL reports,
Baltimore County police said the barricade situation came after shots were reported to be fired in the 4400 block of Fenor Road, located not far from the school, which is at 4200 Annapolis Road.
School officials have confirmed that Highlands elementary school in Baltimore,MD has been placed on a lockdown. While there arent any details on the lockdown WBAL reports,
Baltimore County police are reporting police activity in the area of the Halethorpe school at 4200 Annapolis Road, but have not released any additional information.
