Star Wars Brings In $1 Billion Globally In Record Pace

Star Wars is setting records as the movie to pull in the biggest Christmas result, and the biggest second week for a film in history.
Variety reports the 7th installment of the franchise banked a remarkable $153 million domestically over the holidays.
This is stellar news for the film and everyone attached it, especially when pitted against blockbuster heavy hitter Will Smith and his new film Concussion.
How awesome is it see a film, starring a black man in a traditionally white role, busting records and taking names?
