King Louie A.K.A King L–was shot in the head today December 23rd on the Southwest Side of Chicago, his manger confirmed.
The rapper whose real name is Louis Johnson Jr. — although the shot to his head was only a graze, he is listed in stable condition according to his manager. King L gained major notoriety in 2012 as a keystone in Chicago’s volcanic drill scene, eventually receiving co-signs from Drake and Yeezus (Kanye) himself, and being one of only two rappers to have a guest verse on Kanye West’s 2013 Yeezus album.
