After recordings of Clippers owner Donald Sterling surfaced, many people looked to the team for how they would respond. When players turned their warm-up gear inside out – hiding the Clippers logo – in protest, some complained it wasn’t enough. It turns out, however, that Clippers players were instrumental in securing action by the NBA to ban Sterling for life from games and any involvement with the league.

Wednesday on “NewsOne Now,” host Roland Martin was joined by a panel of experts  who wondered if NBA players will seize the opportunity to turn their organization and influence into a social justice movement. Listen below.
