Former G-Unit Associate Mazaradi Fox was shot and killed on Friday when a Queens gunman shot an SUV he was riding in with several other people. He was 42-years-old.

Fox, real name Jamal Green, was killed at the corner of Farmers Blvd. and 134th Ave in Jamaica at about 4:00pm. Fox, a native of Jamaica, Queens, had just been released from prison on Dec. 20 after serving two years for an attempted assault. He was also convicted of attempted murder in 1998, according to court records.

Three other people in the white Nissan SUV were wounded, including two men and a woman, all in their 20s. One of the men remains in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital.

Fox was once signed to G-Unit records but left to start his own label, Dumout, according to thisis50.com.

50 Cent and Tony Yayo sent their condolences via Twitter:

“Saddened by the news of Mazaradi’s tragic passing,” he tweeted. “My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”

“Rip the Fox Southside,” Yayo added.

No suspects have yet been arrested in the shooting.
