Owwwwww owwwww Ms. AngelBaby. Our very own DJ AngelBaby was just named by the Baltimore Sun as one of the ’50 Women To Watch In Baltimore’. The popular DJ is named alongside Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Miss Maryland, just to name a few. The Baltimore Sun’s Wesley Case had this to say about AngelBaby:

The mainstream breakthrough of Baltimore Club — the city’s frenetic fusion of house music and hip-hop — lost steam after the death of the Queen of Club, K-Swift, in 2008. Then came Angel Carpenter, aka DJ AngelBaby on 92Q. She was the producer responsible for January’s “Get Pumped Vol. 1,” a Club compilation that got other cities to notice Baltimore’s sound again. And her nonprofit Urban Artemis is hosting mentorships for girls. This fall, Carpenter will organize the second “Get Pumped High School” tour, which visits campuses and combines Club music, guest speakers and a message of success. “It’s a whole movement,” she said.

We are so proud of you DJ AngelBaby and keep up the good work. Watch out world!
