It’s that time of the year again for Charm School In Charm City: Second Period. The event will be a full day of interactive workshops, amazing and motivating keynote speakers, and empowering experiences to uplift, inspire, and educate young ladies of the community; ages 10-17. I believe it will be extremely beneficial for the young ladies to experience the positive examples of what it is to embrace sisterhood from various organizations in Baltimore, through health, business, self-image, and etiquette.
Here is a brief overview of each session:
• “Ladies First” Etiquette Workshop-covering the proper way to address and greet people, dinning etiquette, poise and other proper lessons that every young lady should incorporate in their everyday lives.
• “Tween, Teen, and Queen” Life Of A Woman Workshop-purposed to educate the ladies on the importance of hygiene, the changing of their bodies and possible health concerns.
• “She, Me, Her”: Image Is Everything Workshop-focusing on self-image, lack of confidence, peer pressure, and self-motivation course to define the young women for who they are and not what they can deliver or how they can deliver it.
• “It All Boils Down To Business” Workshop-covering the subject of having a positive business sense and making your dreams a reality.
This will be a business-casual conference so I’m asking all attendees to come dressed in a dress or skirt and blouse (suits aren’t necessary).
