This pic was sent to us by one of our listeners in Salisbury, Md. She says that people were urged to write their name and next to kin on their bodies if they decided to stay in the area. This is so that their body can be identified if they are in fact killed by this storm.
Ocean City had a mandatory evacuation and other areas of the shore like Salisbury were strongly urged to evacuate. Shore residents were told that if they decide to stay that it would be at their own risk.
