Time Medical Biller/Customer Service (Baltimore, MD )
This is a full time temp-to-perm customer service position in a healthcare setting, responsible for answering inquiries for member participation, confirming eligibility for care, educating members and providers on benefits, processing authorizations, and providing excellent customer service. Eligible candidates must possess the following qualities and/or experience:
Must have medical billing knowledge (ICD9 coding)
Must have prior experience working in an in-bound call center setting
Must be computer savvy – 40 wpm minimum (data entry experience preferred), must be able to learn new programs quickly, must be able to type and talk at the same time
Internet and web-based systems experience is required
Good communication skills and ability to interact with a culturally diverse population is required Ability to multi-task, and work both independently or as part of a team in order to meet customer expectations.
