Mama always said not to tell EVERYTHING when you’re in a marriage or relationship. Do you withold your financial status, or personal issues from your significant other?
Here’s what you posted on my Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/mskikibrown)
Monica Harmon I wouldn’t say you hold back but things should not all be put on the table in one shot. That’s like a person over eating until they about to bust… to much to fast to soon.
Shannon Robinson Unfortunately I feel like sometimes you have to. I hide my real salary from him. I don’t want him to know that I make hellla more than him, he already feels bad that I do make more money, so I always down play my paychecks and bonuses. Plus one of my girlfriends told me not to tell him everything about your past. However, that back fired on me, … See Morecause he happened to become cool, with an former fling of mines best friend and she put me on blast and said I slept with him, after I swore my bf I didnt. Of course I said she was lying tho:) LLS!
David Riley some things are better left unsaid. unless asked about
Michelle Fisher I don’t becaue once you tell one lie you have to tell 5000 more to cover the one yo utold in the first place. Too much hassel and drama to deal with. I know folks who have divorced behind this kinda stuff. I believe once married everything should be shared otherwise whats the purpose of being joined together in GODS presence!
Darrnell Farrow We should be open, but there is a such thing as TOO OPEN!
Kyle S. Norton no point in withholding info, it will come out someway somehow eventually!!
