Thursday we recognized the honorees of Baltimore’s Top 30 Under 30 2014 at a power luncheon, catered by Culinary Innovations. The #FeedMe duo, Persia Nicole and Dirty Rice, hosted the luncheon. I was amazed at the caliber of individuals in one room and ALL under the age of 30. Among those recognized were entrepreneurs, public service workers, executives and founders of non-profit organizations. These young people aren’t just excelling in their own professions but they are creating a lane for others to excel as well. We tip our hats to these incredible young people and in the words of Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o “No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.”
