The 87th Annual Academy Awards will air live from Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday, February 22 on ABC. Neil Patrick Harris gets this year’s hosting honors.

Selma received a nod for “Best Picture”, although lead actor David Oyelowo was snubbed despite rave reviews for his portrayal of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Selma director Ava DuVernay would have been the first African-American woman to receive a best director nomination, but was also not recognized by the Academy this year.
